Chantry Networks names Tom Racca Vice President of Marketing
WALTHAM, MA - December 2, 2003 - Chantry Networks, the provider of the world's first routed wireless LAN solution, today named Thomas F. Racca as vice president of marketing. Drawing on more than 20 years of high technology marketing, sales and consulting experience, Racca brings an impeccable background to the innovative enterprise wireless technology provider. In his new role, Racca will build on the awareness and reputation of Chantry's award-winning BeaconWorks TM family of WLAN products.

Prior to joining Chantry, Racca was the co-founder and vice president of sales and marketing for iQ NetSolutions, innovators in call management and advanced IP telephony solutions. While at iQ NetSolutions, Racca secured venture capital funding, created a new enterprise software vision, established key strategic partnerships with significant vendors, and built the sales and marketing team.
Racca's experience also includes senior positions at KPMG, Digital Equipment Corporation, Avid Technology, Proteon, and Prime Computer, Inc. In these roles, Racca honed his skills in marketing, strategic planning, business development, and competitive product and solution positioning.
Over the past few months, Chantry has made several significant hires, including Vice President of Worldwide Sales Norman Meisner and Director of Channel Programs James Colantropo. Rounding out the executive management team are Peter N. Vicars, president and CEO; Brian Collie, co-founder and executive vice president of business development, Bob Myers, co-founder and CTO and Susan Ledoux, CFO. Chantry Networks is headquartered in Waltham, MA, with a center of engineering excellence in Toronto.
Additionally, Chantry has increased the national sales team, adding experienced professionals from the wireless and networking industries.
