Ford Fraker joins Flagship Ventures to lead new fund formation
We are pleased to announce that Ford Fraker has joined Flagship Ventures as Managing Director and Senior VP, Fund Formation, to head our new fund formation and investor relations activities. Ford has been active in fundraising and banking activities, internationally, for over 20 years.
Ford comes to us from the Trinity Group Limited, a private investment banking firm in London where he was a Founder and Managing Director. Trinity Group's client base is composed mainly of institutional investors in Europe and the Middle East. Prior to the Trinity Group, Ford established Fraker & Company in London, raising capital for clients from Middle East institutions and private investors. Ford also served as Division Head for JP Morgan affiliate Saudi International Bank London and was a Vice President and Regional Manager, Chemical Bank, Bahrain as well as acting as Chemical Bank's Representative in Dubai and Beirut. Ford holds a BA from Harvard College.
An important aspect of Flagship Ventures becoming one of the leading early-stage venture firms in the US will be to broaden our investor base, and to strengthen our ties through active communication and consultation with our current investors. Working together with the two of us, in addition, to Cheryl Goyette, our CFO, we are confident Ford will have a great impact on our future. We look forward to personally introducing him to you.
