Inderpreet Singh tapped as expert for searchnetworking.com
Chantry Networks' product architect explains Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) on TechTarget Networking web site

BOSTON - September 29, 2003 - Inderpreet Singh, product architect for Chantry Networks, was chosen to explain VPNs and respond to reader questions in TechTarget's SearchNetworking.com's (www.searchnetworking.com) "Ask the Experts" column. SearchNetworking.com is the Web's most active community for networking-focused IT professionals, providing its readers with news, trends, expert advice and other cutting-edge information. Singh is serving on the panel as an expert on VPNs.

"Inderpreet is a true visionary when it comes to virtualization and how it can enhance companies' wired and wireless networks," said Peter N. Vicars, president and CEO, Chantry Networks. "Inderpreet's experience with VPN virtualization has been a great asset in developing Chantry's innovative wireless virtualization solution, VNSWorks™. He will leverage his background and current work with VNSWorks to provide SearchNetworking.com's audience with answers that are insightful, informative and reflect the latest developments in the industry."

A virtual private network (VPN) is a way to use a public network infrastructure, such as the Internet, to provide remote offices or individual users with secure access to their organization's network. A virtual private network can be contrasted with an expensive system of owned or leased lines that can only be used by one organization. The goal of a VPN is to provide the organization with the same capabilities, but at a much lower cost.

"As a featured expert on SearchNetworking.com, Inderpreet joins an exclusive panel of highly respected experts covering all aspects of networking, said Susan Fogarty, site editor, SearchNetworking.com. "We're pleased to be able to provide our audience with access to networking experts like Inderpreet, whose experience and knowledge can help our readers advance their skills as IT professionals."
