Chantry Networks goes on the road to detail WLAN architectures
BOSTON - September 2, 2003 - Chantry Networks, the provider of the world's first routed wireless LAN solution, will detail the benefits and challenges of various wireless LAN (WLAN) architectures during Network World's WLAN Tour. The tour takes place this month and will be in New York City, Atlanta, Houston and San Jose.
"Since launching BeaconWorks, the world's first routed wireless LAN architecture, we've been approached by numerous companies interested in bringing wireless to their large-scale campuses," said Peter N. The tour starts tomorrow at the Grand Hyatt in New York City. Additional stops include: September 4th at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis in Atlanta; September 23rd at the Westin Galleria Hotel in Houston; and September 25th at the Silicon Valley Conference Center in San Jose. At the WLAN tour stops, Chantry's Peter Livingstone, director of technical marketing, will review the features, benefits, limitations and major differences of the various WLAN architectures available today. Additional leaders in the wireless networking space will cover other topics, including: 802.11 standards, optimum techniques for deploying WLANs, effective wireless security solutions, best practices and management tools, leading application for WLANs and strategies to overcome structural interference.
