Converged Access Bolsters Management Team and is Poised to Take Leadership Role in Converged Application Performance Management Solutions

Per Suneby, Networking Veteran, Takes Reigns as President & CEO; Malik Khan now Executive Chairman; Jean Dubois now Senior Vice President of Engineering

Billerica, MA -- August 2, 2005 -- Converged Access Inc., the leading innovator in WAN and application performance management solutions, today announced the appointment of Per Suneby as President & CEO. Converged Access named Malik Khan as Executive Chairman, and Jean Dubois as Vice President of Engineering.

About Per Suneby

With more than 25 years of industry and startup experience, Per assumes the role of President & CEO, having most recently been Chief Strategy Officer for Converged Access. In his previous position for the company, Per was responsible for building strategic alliances, overseeing business development, and strategic planning.

Prior to joining Converged Access, Per was Vice-Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer for Chantry Networks, a WLAN mobility management solutions provider acquired by Siemens in January, 2005. Per was also co-founder, President and CEO of Indus River Networks, Inc., a Virtual Private Network solutions company that was acquired by Enterasys Networks in January 2001. Following the acquisition, Per managed the integration of Indus River, was instrumental in the development of Enterasys’ Secure Access Router product business, and was appointed Senior Vice President of Corporate Development before joining Flagship Ventures as a Venture Partner in 2002. Prior to founding Indus River, Per was with Motorola for 12 years, most recently as General Manager of its industry-leading cable modem and enterprise data networking businesses.

Per Suneby is a member of the Board of Directors of Ellacoya Networks and of the Massachusetts Network Communications Council, and remains an Advisor Partner with Flagship Ventures. He was a member of the board of Astral Point Communications until its acquisition by Alcatel in April 2002. Suneby earned a BASc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

About Jean Dubois

Jean Dubois has over twenty-five years of engineering and management experience in the networking industry. Most recently, Jean was Senior Vice President of Engineering for Flamenco Networks, a provider of Web Services Infrastructure systems. Prior to Flamenco, Jean was founder and CEO of Pelago Networks, a telecommunication equipment manufacturer enabling enhanced voice services. As Vice President of engineering at Shiva Networks, Jean played a major role in the company's Initial Public Offerings (IPO) and acquisitions. Prior to Shiva, Jean held senior management positions in R&D, M&A/Business Development, Technical Consulting and Product Management at Digital Equipment Corporation. Jean holds a Master of Science in Chemistry/Optics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from France.
