Founded in 2003 and based in Maynard, Massachusetts, SiCortex is developing large-scale Linux clusters aimed at the technical market: solving large, complex engineering and scientific problems. By the innovative use of very densely packaged low power processors and an extremely high performance processor interconnection fabric, SiCortex expects to deliver at least an order of magnitude improvement in price performance over existing Linux clusters. Flagship provided seed funding for the company, and was co-founder along with a respected team of computer industry veterans. Flagship Partner Bill Strecker is on the Board of Directors.
