Ze-gen is developing and commercializing advanced gasification technology to convert industrial and municipal waste streams into synthetic natural gas and low emissions electrical energy. Ze-gen is currently completing construction with imminent start-up of its unique proof-of-concept facility in New Bedford, MA in preparation for commercial projects targeted for launch in 2008. William Davis has served as the Company’s CEO and President and as a Director since its founding in July, 2004, and Ze-gen raised its initial $2.25 million of financing in 2006 from a syndicate led by Massachusetts Technology Development Corporation (MTDC). Jim Matheson, General Partner of Flagship Ventures, is Chairman of the Board of Directors.
